There are occasional pitfalls, too: land on the wrong square and you might be stuck in Molasses Swamp until a red card is drawn. Nostalgic and Perfect for Young Kids

Candy Land is a classic for a reason. It’s super easy for kids to pick up since there’s no reading or complicated rules—just colorful cards and a fun candy-themed path. I played it a lot as a kid, and now seeing younger ones enjoy it just as much is really sweet. The game is mostly based on luck, so it’s not very exciting for adults, but it’s perfect for introducing board games to little ones. The artwork is still charming, though some cards that send you backward can frustrate kids. Overall, it’s a great starter game that holds up over time.

Candy Land is such a classic and always so much fun to play as a family! My kids love the bright colors and fun characters, and it’s super easy to set up and play—even for little ones.
