Barrier Reset/ Hormonal Acne
Angelica
I’ve reordered this from Amazon six times in the past two years, and from Target four times. This is rare for me because I love trying new products and having PCOS and rosacea I’m constantly trying to find products that “work”. I found this to be something that genuinely works at reducing inflammation, redness, and flakey texture that comes with healing acne. I am a true believer now that if you have PCOS there is no external product to fix your acne- it’s all internal and hormonal. But this really works. I only use it at night as the last step, you will look like a glazed donut, this is thick, but trust that when you wake up in the morning you will be able to tell a difference in the calmness and restoration of your skin barrier. Some people use this to smother pimples to bring them to the surface, some people only use this as needed, for me it worked great as a thick overnight full face moisturizer.
Repurchase on repeat
Marisa
I initially bought this because I saw a TikTok video that said it will help with sebum on your nose. It didn’t end up working for my skin. One day I decided to put it on a small pimple just to see how my face would react. And since then I use this for any acne I have. I just put a small dot of this on the pimple (throughout the day I usually touch it up with a new dot) and it helps it so much!! Who knows what this cream will do for your face or what you will use it for, but it has so many benefits and I’m very positive that I will be an asset to your skincare.
Great for mature, dry skin
Rose
I switched to this cream after I received it as a sample from my dr after getting a cosmetic procedure. I loved it so much I started purchasing on my own ever since but my skin has never looked better…but I even see it recommended on influencers pages. It’s like the best kept secret…never knew about these products and now I do! I love them all but this moisturizer keeps my 53 year old dry skin looking healthy, glowing and fresh! People tell me all the time how nice my skin looks. Get the SPF too!
A Godsend for Sensitive, Irritated Skin

I never expected to love a barrier balm this much. I recently started using La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 on my face, during my Differin adjustment phase, when my skin was tight, peeling, and reactive. I expected it to feel greasy, but it’s the complete opposite - smooth, soft, and incredibly soothing. It layers beautifully over my serums and under SPF, and it’s gentle enough to use even when my skin is flaking or red. I’ve used it both at night and midday, and it always leaves my skin feeling calm and hydrated. It’s become a staple in my routine, and I genuinely look forward to applying it. If want a balm that feels like comfort in a tube, this is it. I’ve never heard of this product before, but now I’ll never be without it.
Skin barrier repair
jen
I bought this bc it was recommended to me by my doctor to repair my compromised skin barrier. It actually worked & my skin barrier has healed. I also don't allow any fragrance, shampoo or conditioner to be on my face during the healing process & I only use 100% cotton pillow cases (no polyester) during this time. And no scrubbing with a wash rag during face cleansing, fingers only. I also use Vanicream cleanser. These steps/rules while using cicaplast work like a charm. It takes about two weeks to heal & I use this twice daily.
Calming but very shiny
Penny
This is a heavy moisturizer that is good for irritated or sensitive skin. It also improves the appearance of my pores. But i can’t believe LRP advertises it as having a “matte finish”. It’s very shiny, I only use it at night bc it’s too shiny for daytime use. (Vanicream sensitive skin is a good, inexpensive medium moisture option that absorbs well without shine for daytime use.)
